Publicists are not cheap, as you’ve no doubt already discovered, which is why you’re reading this article. A good publicist can cost as much as $2000 – $3000 per month, or even more. I’m going to be assumptive and guess that you probably don’t have that kind of money. If you do happen to have an extra 3 grand sitting around every month, then by all means, quit reading this article and get yourself a PR rep. Still reading? Well, lets move on then.
Discard the unwanted objects. When you are moving your home, you want to make it as simple as possible. Therefore, make a new list of items that you and your family do not need at your new place. Discard them off; sell them out; gift to your friends or maids. Your options are plenty. If you are hiring services of Norfolk movers and packers, it would be easier for them to plan the entire event once you have removed the unwanted and old goods and items. Remember, lesser number of items, lesser will be the moving charges quoted.
Visit the websites of the utilities you will need at your new location. Look for offers associated with moving your service or changing to their service. Make notes or print the pages.
So it’s with great disappointment that the entire Coldwell family has to pan the “Hannah Montana: The Movie” for the Xbox 360. Just to be clear…we’re talking about the movie game, not the movie itself (which kicked ass…don’t judge me). I was hopeful when my buddy Larry (“Daphne” in my Left 4 Dead columns) offered to loan us the newly purchased game because his daughter (age 12) found it to be “a little young.” Since the primary Hannah fan in our house is eight years younger, that sounded perfect, right? Not even close.
Ask Alexander the Great what kind of toll or price he paid for his incredible world conquests. He did. He conquered the entire known world. His soldiers loved him.
Another big negative is that there are too many options; you can sit in your living room on any given night with your laptop, iphone, and any movie you want to watch all within arms length! It’s what’s hurting local scenes all over the country, in that people don’t have to leave their house to be entertained anymore…the outlets are too accessible. Except for groceries, many people don’t even go into stores anymore.
Be gentle with yourself. Plan something enjoyable and relaxing to do once your move is complete. You will need to take a “time out” to recover from the experience.
As the day approaches, you may have less of a feeling of anxiety because you already know what you have done and what you still need to do. There should be less of the feeling that you forgot something. Because everything got done, there is no need for the frustration, hassle and stress that sometimes accompanies this experience. Keep your eye on the goal and before you know it, you will be sitting back and relaxing in your new home.
